Privacy policy
Frame 70 collects as little as it can. This page sets out what actually happens when you read the site, join the newsletter or send us a message.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit the site and which pages get read. It is cookieless and collects no personal information.
We also run our own visit counter. It stores a count of page views and nothing that identifies anyone.
We do not use Google Analytics. We do not set advertising cookies. We do not track individuals across other sites.
The newsletter
We collect an email address only when someone submits the sign-up form. Addresses are stored by Buttondown, our email provider.
We use them to send the newsletter and nothing else. We do not sell or share them.
Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes the address.
The contact form
Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to us by email using Web3Forms. They are not stored on the site.
Services we rely on
The site depends on a small number of outside services to work:
- Cloudflare: hosting and analytics.
- Buttondown: the newsletter.
- Web3Forms: the contact form.
- Buzzsprout: podcast hosting and the embedded episode player.
- TMDb: film and television data and artwork.
