Press and screeners
Frame 70 is a film and television review podcast based in Brisbane, Australia, hosted by Fraser and Darryl. Every episode answers one question: is it worth your time? The full written edition of every review is published on this site, scored on the Frame Index.
What we cover
New cinema releases and streaming premieres, full television season reviews once a season has finished airing, and From the Vault, where older films are revisited. New releases are covered close to their Australian opening, often within days and sometimes on the day.
Publishing schedule
New episodes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, without exception. Most run under twenty minutes. Every episode is accompanied by a full written review on this site.
Spoiler policy
Every review of a new release is published spoiler free. Spoiler discussion is reserved for older films and completed television seasons. Every review carries a clearly marked spoiler rating of spoiler free, light spoilers or contains spoilers, shown on both the episode and the written review. A new release will not be spoiled on Frame 70.
Embargo policy
We honour embargo dates and times without exception, across both the podcast and the written edition. Where material is supplied under embargo we confirm the date and time in writing before anything is published.
Television and partial seasons
Season reviews are normally published once a season has finished airing. Where a distributor supplies a partial season, we are glad to review the episodes provided and publish to the embargo date, clearly labelled as a first episodes review rather than a full season verdict.
Screeners and press materials
We welcome screeners, advance episodes, press materials and review requests from studios, distributors, streaming services and production companies, including for Australian release windows ahead of theatrical or streaming launch.
We review what we receive. With three episodes published every week there is always a slot, and material sent to us is covered rather than shelved.
Digital Screeners & Press Access
Frame 70 accepts digital screeners for film and television releases. We can receive pre-release screeners through whichever platform you already use, including magic-link access, individually authorised screening accounts, secure virtual screening rooms and dedicated press screener applications. If your publicity team has a preferred method, we will work with it.
We understand that pre-release screeners often carry individualised access, time-limited viewing windows, geographic restrictions and forensic or visible watermarking. We follow the access, security and viewing conditions set by the rights holder or publicity representative.
If you are a distributor, publicist, filmmaker or production company and would like Frame 70 to consider your film or television project, contact us with the title, release date and available screening arrangements at hello@frame70.com.
The Frame Index
Every review carries a score out of ten, built from five markers: craft, impact, originality, flow and echo. It is a considered position on what a film or series achieves and where it falls short, rather than an aggregate of other people's opinions.
Where we publish
Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music and YouTube, plus all major podcast apps including Pocket Casts, Overcast, Castbox and Podcast Addict. Every review is also published in full as a written edition on this site.
